gpg --export A3C4F0F979CAA22CDBA8F512EE8CBC9E886DDD89 | sudo apt-key add -
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

Install tor and privoxy.

sudo apt-get install tor privoxy

If you want a gui install vidalia

sudo apt-get install vidalia
sudo update-rc.d -f tor remove
sudo update-rc.d -f privoxy remove

Edit privoxy

sudo vi /etc/privoxy/config

Add this line:

forward-socks4a / localhost:9050 .

To be truly anonymous, you may want to turn off local logging for all your GET/POST/CONNECT request in privoxy’s config file.

# debug 1 # show each GET/POST/CONNECT request
